Dear all–

Sending you this update in the middle of a travel period – from the University of Alberta School of Business in Edmonton, Canada, to Joshua Tree National Park in southern California, to an inspiring TEDx conference in Rochester, New York on the theme of FLIP – flipping our usual perspectives, for example seeing our organizations as relational maps rather than org charts. What’s possible when we change what we “see”?

Now off to Oslo Norway to meet with the airline and construction and consulting industries and to give a seminar at the Norwegian Business School where I’ll present an emerging theory called “The Relational Theory of Organizational Change.” I am heartened by the goodwill I see as people connect across differences to create positive change.

Now inviting you to read on – check out our newest partners, and see what the others are up to. Join the discussion as relational coordination meets social construction this month to gain insights for organizational and social change.

And see what our Scandinavian partners are planning for us at the 7th Annual Roundtable in Copenhagen October 19-20 when we will be hosted by the City of Copenhagen, Metropolitan University College and the Copenhagen Business School. Made my flight reservations yesterday – registration, hotels and call for abstracts will go live next month!
